An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly Cardiology Team based across Middlemore Hospital and Manukau Superclinic. We are looking for a new part time (0.8FTE) Cardiac Technician or Trainee to join the Cardiac Investigation Unit.

The role involves preforming non-invasive cardiac procedures including ECG recording, Holter monitor and Event fitting, Exercise Tolerance Testing and Spirometry across both our Middlemore and Manukau Superclinic sites.

You will be working alongside a supportive inter-disciplinary team within the Cardiac investigation unit including Physiologists, sonographers and technicians.

- Be a highly-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a team as well as independently
- As a qualified technician, you would hold an APC with the CPRB (Clinical Physiologist Registration Board).
- An undergraduate degree is not a pre-requisite for entry into this role but applicants holding an undergraduate degree will be considered.

Remuneration is as per the APEX Clinical Physiology MECA -Clinical Physiology Technicians Scale (between step 1 $52,260 - 5 $65,981).
