**Your New Opportunity**:
The Auckland branch of Penske NZ are looking for a full time, permanent Storeperson to join their parts and warehouse team. In this busy, hands-on position you will be responsible for receipting and documenting inbound freight, picking and packing orders and dispatching orders to varied customers and dealers throughout the upper North Island. You will have a passion for working safely and your house-keeping will be second to none. The Auckland branch is operational from 7am - 9pm Monday to Friday. This position will be based on dayshift working 45 hours between 7.30am to 5.00pm.

Specific Job Duties:

- Pick and pack parts orders using an internal computer operating system
- Dispatch orders to customers and dealers throughout the upper North Island
- Ensure a timely supply of parts and information as required for jobs processed through the workshop
- Receive and check off inventory as it arrives from Penske distribution centres, other branches, overseas suppliers, air freight forwarders and local suppliers
- Unload containers of parts from overseas adhering to MPI requirements
- Maintain appropriate stock levels, ensure stock is stored correctly and all purchases/sales are recorded accurately
- Produce regular inventory reports
- Minimise stock errors; provide solutions when processes do not work as planned
- Provide a consistently high level of customer service
- Understand detailed instructions and ensuring all work is processed in accordance with Company procedures
- Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping in the warehouse
- Participate in regular stocktakes

**About You**:
Ideal applicants will offer previous experience in a warehouse environment where accuracy is paramount and providing outstanding customer service is all part of a normal days work. You will enjoy ensuring that orders are dispatched on time and you will be capable of managing physical tasks and using a forklift to reach products that are stored at height. A current F licence and OSH endorsement is ideal although training can be given. Knowledge of the transport industry, and/or previous experience in an automotive/heavy parts warehouse would be an advantage.
