We are ideally seeking a highly competent Line Mechanic, who has significant experience and a solid understanding of power
distribution.
You’ll need to:
- Be prepared to get in and work as part of a tight-knit crew to get the job done
- Have the ability to work in a variety of environments, primarily outdoors and in most weather conditions
- Be a team player and a solid communicator
- Have the ability to read and interpret maps, plans and work instructions
- Have current EWRB registration and a practising license
- Have an understanding of industry safety regulations and best practice
- Be qualified and have experience working on LV,11, 22, 33 and 66kV (Glove and Barrier, and Hot Stick training i s
desirable)
- Have a full driver’s license (with Class 2 or the desire to obtain)
- Be living or intending to relocate to live within the Ashburton District
