**About the team**:
Xero is built on top of Accounting Core

Join Accounting Core (AC) as the Team Lead of The **Documentalists (Doccy)**. Doccy are the proud stewards of our Accounting Document APIs. These API’s create and interact with invoices, bills, payments and more You will lead Doccy in ensuring these API’s have the features required to improve and modernise our user experiences.

**About the role**:

- Engage, understand, collaborate, and communicate effectively with peers and teams across Xero to drive continuous improvement towards Xero’s sustainably excellent engineering vision.
- Lead your team of NZ based engineers to successfully identify, scope, manage, and complete high quality work which delivers measurable improvements to production systems in a timely manner.
- Build cross-team relationships for win-win outcomes
- Foster team growth through feedback, coaching, and opportunities for advancement
- Analyse system health and make regular system health reviews
- Support engineers during incidents and facilitate post incident reviews
- Build cross-team relationships and manage stakeholder expectations
