Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a hospitality superstar with barista knowledge to join our friendly café team at Mercy Hospital. Your key responsibilities will include:
Create excellent barista made coffee
General cleaning and maintaining coffee-making areas and espresso machines
Collecting payment for sales and operating cash registers
Promoting services and products to customers
Selecting and grinding coffee

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

While experience is highly regarded, it is your enthusiasm and attitude that will stand out You will also bring with you:
Excellent customer service skills - you love making people feel happy whilst delivering a high-quality service
1-year Barista experience
Experience working in a cafeteria environment (desirable but not compulsory)
A great work ethic and attitude

**Bonus if you have**:
NZQF Level 1 qualification or AQF Certificate (or overseas equivalent) is desirable but not compulsory
Food and hygiene certificate preferred, but not essential as any training in food and hygiene will be provided by the us
