Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Labcare Pathology across both sites Taranaki Base and Hawera Hospital has a casual phlebotomist position available which will be covering predominantly phlebotomy bleeding rooms and morning ward rounds.
We welcome all applicants with the following attributes:
- Currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Sciences Council (Not essential) or are committed to attaining the relevant qualification required.
- Phlebotomy experience. (Not essential, training will be provided)
- Able to carry out technical duties under the supervision of a senior staff member
- Provide effective phlebotomy services to inpatients and outpatients
- Proven ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience working with a wide variety of people.
