We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Solutions Architect to join us in Auckland and be part of a successful and growing Information Technology team.

We are looking for someone who has 3+years' experience in a solutions architect role with a hands on, boots on the ground approach to taking business problems and finding the best technology solutions for our growing business.

Working at T+T will give you an opportunity to build and integrate Information Systems, work with leaders and staff to evaluate group needs and then support, advise and embed architecture across the business for our future. You will be well versed in Enterprise Architecture, IT frameworks, Data Management and not only be a team player but an influencer who can help embed the architecture guard rails at Tonkin + Taylor.

This is a new in-house role that you can make your own so bring your knowledge, expertise and passion and take us into the future.

**In this role you will**:

- Design, modify and test technical architecture
- Support digital developers across multiple teams and guide them in a DevSecOps approach
- Inform various stakeholders about any issues with the technical solutions being implemented
- Assess the business impact of technical decisions to be made
- Help build architecture maturity within the group for the front end, back end, data, information security and integration domains
- Build and maintain architecture standards such as coding standards and API
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
- Define and communicate architectural standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency, scalability, and maintainability of solutions.

**Nā tōu rourou | What you'll bring**
- Desired Bachelor's qualification
- 3 years' experience in a similar role (DevSecOps environment preferred)
- Ability to interact with wide stakeholders including other digital staff, engineers and scientists across teams in an inclusive and supportive way
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture, IT frameworks, Data Management
- Deep analytical skills
