**Job duties may include**:

- Check the quality of ingredients.
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.
- Follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals.
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high quality dishes
- Assisting in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes.
- Compliance with the health and safety regulations
- Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices and food safety standards
- Monitoring portion and waste control
- Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
- Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, ensuring the utmost taste, quality and

presentation.
- Create innovative and contemporary dishes while preserving the rich Flavours and

essence of traditional cuisine.
- Maintain a smooth work flow, ensuring timely food preparation and strict adherence to New Zealand food safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Using Tandoor and Owens to prepare the food items
- Train and mentor junior staff members, sharing culinary knowledge and skills to maintain consistency and elevate the team's expertise.
- Uphold impeccable personal hygiene and grooming standards, setting a positive

example for the entire kitchen team.

**Skills and experience required for the role**:

- At least one year of relevant experience
- Able to pass the criminal and drug check if required
- Physically fit
- Able to work in the weekends including evenings and late nights
- Showcase Expertise in the Tandoori Cooking ,skilfully marinating and grilling delectable Tandoori dishes

If you have a deep understanding of the relevant ingredients/spices, Flavours, and cooking

exciting opportunity.

Minimum 30 hours per week.

Pay rate $25.00-$30.00 per hour.
