Right now we are looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our Warehouse team at our Mangere blending and canning facility.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will ensure the efficient movement of raw and finished product within and outside the warehouse environment. You will also ensure adherence to Synlait’s requirements for accurate documentation, labelling, palletisation and presentation of product. Additional responsibilities include oversight of the movement and storage of product, unloading and loading of trucks, and ensuring the warehouse and equipment are cleaned to standard on a daily basis.

To be successful in this role you will be someone who enjoys problem solving, has well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and strong organisational and planning skills. NCEA Level 1 or equivalent qualification is desirable. a

Forklift and fork hoist experience are essential for these roles.

Previous experience in milk powder plant processes is highly desirable but not essential. Understanding of and experience with standard warehousing practices, as well as slip-sheet experience is advantageous. Computer/Scanner aptitude would be helpful, and proficiency with ERP systems is a definite plus.
