Senior Advisor

Fixed Term until February 2024 (covering a period of Parental Leave).
Employment Portfolio, MSD Service delivery.

In the Employment Portfolio we strive to ensure New Zealanders are supported to prepare for, find, and sustain, suitable employment.
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Advisor for our Digital Employment Value stream.
As a Senior Advisor in this team, you will play a key role in both the development and implementation of initiatives that improve our products and services, enhance client experience, and achieves positive outcomes for New Zealanders.

**You will be responsible for**:

- leading multiple work items
- provide effective leadership and role model Our Purpose and Principles
- encourage initiative and commitment to the team's programme and priorities
- understand our product roadmap to help clarify the scope, prioritise visual and technical design directions
- communicate logically, fluently, and succinctly to ensure messages are understood
- foster positive and co-operative working relationships
- ability to influence others and motivate people to achieve high levels of performance

**Your skills and experience**:
You are a passionate user advocate who values the backing of research and analysis and loves working in a fast paced, welcoming, fun team You will also have:

- experience working in an agile team, ability to operate as a senior advisor, prioritise and support a value stream work programme
- proven ability to work collaboratively and responsively in a dynamic and high-profile sector
- led/implemented key services for the frontline
- proven record of providing advice and analysis of products and services within a complex service organisation and understand service design principles, best practices and standards (including client-centric and holistic design and co-creation)
- an ability to use and interpret analytics and insights to improve user experience and drive engagement.
- proficient in conducting discovery, user research, case development and competitive audits
- excellent stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and communication skills
- drive to create the ultimate customer experience

Position Description

**Salary range**: $95,546.00 - $116,778.00
