**Tasks Include**:

- Assisting in setting up the work site and preparing the layouts
- Ensuring welders have required materials and tools, and maintaining stock levels of materials and work tools whenever necessary
- Loading and unloading tools, materials and work pieces to and from job sites
- Following welders' instructions to position and hold tools and metal stock
- Assisting in operating various hand and powered tools to cut, shape, assemble and dismantle products under supervision
- Adjusting welding machine temperatures, soldering and spot welding parts and pieces to form products using appropriate machines
- Employing buffers and grinders to clean welding joints
- Using equipment, machinery & tools in a responsible & safe manner
- Clean work area, maintain work tools and machines daily after the work is done
