They are currently seeking passionate and dedicated clinicians to join their dynamic team in the Pregnancy and Parental Addictions service.

**About the Team**:
The Service comprises a diverse and multidisciplinary team, including AOD clinicians, social workers, midwives, psychologists, psychiatrists, as well as allied nursing and medical staff. Together, they provide a mobile and outreach service to individuals who meet the following criteria:

- Pregnant and/or parenting children under 3 years of age, regardless of custody issues
- Experiencing harmful use of alcohol and/or other drugs
- Facing challenges with substance use and disconnection from health and/or social services

Joining this well-supported team, you will have the opportunity to develop expertise in supporting struggling parents, women, and their families, while addressing the specific needs of children.

This role embraces evidence-based early intervention and utilizes client-led, strength-based goal planning. You will take part in case management, assertive outreach, advocacy, service coordination, risk management, and contribute to harm minimization, reduction, and recovery models.

**About You**:
To excel in this role, it is essential that you possess a strong sense of social justice and a commitment to working with individuals in their full complexity using a biopsychosocial approach. Your non-judgmental attitude, exceptional engagement and communication skills, and ability to work both autonomously and within a team will be invaluable. Additionally, you should meet the following requirements:
Essential:

- **Current** **Full New Zealand professional registration**:

- Full, clean driver's license
- Legal right to work in NZ
- Ability to implement Te Tiriti O Waitangi principles in your daily work

Preferred:

- Clinical experience in the mental health and/or addiction field
- Comfortable collaborating with other health and social service providers, including Family Start, Oranga Tamariki, Kainga Ora, and community-based NGOs
- Lived experience as a consumer or whanau member
