We are currently seeking many positions for Shop Assistant/Checkout Operator to join our team here at**Richies Market**.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The primary role of the Shop Assistant/Checkout Operator is to represent our store every day - this is an important role as our Checkout team can at times be the only point of contact with our customers.

To be successful in this role you must be:

- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Customer focused, and willing to give our customers the best experience in our store every time
- Able to work in a team and take direction from the manager/owner.

**WORK QUALIFICATIONS**
- Food Handling and Hygiene Qualification would be an advantage

**EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS**
- Experience in customer service or in a similar role is an advantage but not necessary
- Must be willing to work during weekends and public holidays (except Christmas Day) as required
- The Market opens 7 days a week from 6 am 8 pm. All employees must be able and willing to start shifts at 5 am on rotation
- Minimum guaranteed hours of work - 30 hours per week.

**WHAT WE WILL OFFER**
