Our client manufactures and supplies products and disposables for the food processing industry. They have been locally owned and operated in Christchurch for over 30 years.

We are seeking a well-organised, enthusiastic Warehouse Manager who communicates well, is a team player and can hit the ground running for this exciting opportunity. You must be able to think on your feet and prioritise daily duties, to meet specific timeframes, in the most cost-effective way.

Your daily tasks will be split between the factory and warehouse, both **located in Wigram**. The hours for this position are **Monday to Friday from 8:30am-4.30pm.**

Within this role, you will be responsible for all factory, warehousing, logistics & freight activities.

**Duties include**:

- Forklift operation - F+OSH
- Inwards/outwards goods
- Container devanning
- Assist with any factory duties on the floor to support team as required
- Machine operating
- Pick pack and dispatch orders within warehouse
- Stocktakes
- Delivering goods to local customers in a class 1, manual truck
- Liaising with courier and freight businesses
- Some heavy lifting - up to 16kgs
- Full Class 1 Driver’s Licence (manual vehicle)
- At least 5 years’ forklift operating experience - with current F endorsement & OSH certificate
- Previous experience in a similar role - confirmed by referees
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work well, as part of a team
