Roadside Assistant

We at AB Group are looking for a person who can provide Roadside Assistance within the Auckland region and perform the below duties for our company:

- Respond to calls from customers for service by providing accurate estimated time of arrival during your shift. This includes ensuring the on-duty dispatcher is aware of your location at all times so they will be able to calculate accurate ETA’s for incoming calls for service and accordingly send tow trucks in case needed.
- Drive company vehicle with all necessary tools to the location where the assistance is required.
- Provide minor mechanical repair at your own capacity like:

- Complete flat tires assistance to the customers and safely repair, check and inflate tire pressure to proper PSI accordingly to respective vehicle.
- Deliver appropriate amount and type of fuel and refill customer fuel tank.
- Unlock vehicle doors, trunk or hood.
- Test and jump start dead or weak vehicle battery. Remove faulty vehicle battery and replace with a new battery.
- Perform services on a variety of vehicles and give adequate customer service.
- Coordinating with the winching or towing service team as and when needed.
- Give necessary recommendations to the customer regarding further action to be taken if the fault required proper mechanical assistance.
- Adhere to all company policies and guidelines related to the work performed.
- Ensure to adhere to current or trending industry standards and safety guidelines.
- Collects payment from customers via cash, credit or debit cards.
- Maintain all equipment and ensure they are clean and in working condition order.

You will be required to work for **minimum of 30 hours per week**.

**Other Requirements**:

- Valid Driver's license
- Physically fit and healthy
- Availability to work on weekends
- Passion to learn as necessary training will be provided

**Salary**: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
