Our Napier branch is looking for an energetic, committed Delivery Driver (Class 2) to join their team. The days and hours of work are from 7 am to 4 pm, Tuesday to Saturday. The role involves doing deliveries for customers in the Hawkes Bay region. The branch is located in Turner place, Napier and the role is full time, permanent.

Job Responsibilities:

- Deliver goods to assigned locations and/or individuals.
- Transporting orders and materials to designated sites involves driving company vehicles (vans, trucks, etc.).
- Loading/unloading delivery trucks; receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport.
- Maintain delivery vehicles (e.g. checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.); ensure safe operation of the vehicle.
- Maintain records (e.g. delivery log, etc.).
- Participate in physical inventories/stock take.
- Have Class 2 (manual) and above License and relevant driving experience
- Forklift license is a bonus
- Hold clean driving and criminal records
- Knowledge of basic food ingredients
- Reliable and has excellent reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Have a confident and friendly phone manner.
- Have basic time management skills are necessary
- Have attention to detail.
- Be physically strong and fit; ability to lift heavy items
- Experience and knowledge in food industry is beneficial
