Construction Worker Labourerss

We are currently looking for multiple Construction Worker Labourers

You will be based in West Coast but may also be required to work in Waikato, Wellington, Taranaki, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Manawatu-Whanganui, Canterbury, Northland, Otago, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman and Auckland. This may require the need to travel away from home or relocate.

This is a full-time permanent position. Wages are between $26.69 - $35.00 per hour, and you will be guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week.

The role involves work on residential, commercial, and industrial sites and includes (but is not limited to):

- Assisting with the construction or demolition of any building/site foundation works
- Assisting with the construction or demolition of any building/site external works
- Assisting with construction or demolition of any building/site internal works
- Following specific instructions as given by site management
- Loading and unloading building and construction materials, tools and equipment and transporting them around building sites
- Erecting and dismantling temporary structures such as barricades and scaffolding
- Assistance with installation of steel reinforcements
- Assistance with any framing, foundations, drywall, tiling, welding, paving etc
- Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete, plaster and mortar
- Digging holes and removing excavated material
- Spreading and levelling soil, gravel and sand on roads and driveways, trench bottoms and similar locations
- General site tidying
- 1 years’ relevant experience in construction or similar
- Can work unsupervised or part of a team
- Willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening
- Able to complete basic paperwork when needed
- Understands and practices the principles of zero harm
- Calm, professional temperament and a good work ethic
