Job Title**:Motel Manager**

Key tasks and responsibilities:

- Direct, oversee and supervise work at all levels including reservation, reception, accounting, room service, maintenance, housekeeping, health, security, etc.
- Plan all activities, set clear objectives and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model
- Ensure that all duties are completed correctly
- Monitor stock of motel products and order supplies as needed and ensure the purchases stay within budget
- Supervise security arrangements, inspect facilities regularly, enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Observe all laws and regulations
- Deal with maintenance and renovations issues
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and excellent leadership to staff
- Communicate with guests to provide service and tourism information
- Gather feedback from the clients and make sure they have a pleasant experience
- Handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines to maintain the motel’s reputation
- Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, travel agencies, etc.
- Promote motel’s services
- Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements of the motel
- Set prices, manage budgets/expenses, analyze and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits, make forecasts, aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency and profitability
- Plan and implement the regular training for current staff if needed
- Hire and organize inductions and training for new staff if needed
- Any other duties the employer may reasonably require the employee to perform

Pay rate: Minimum $28.00/ hour Maximum $30.00/ hour

Guaranteed hours of work per week: Minimum 30 hours, permanent full-time

Requirements for the job:

- Qualification in Diploma or above

At least 2 year relevant work experience is required
- Strong uderstanding of business management
- Excellent problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Full time availability
- May need to work on weekends and holidays
- No criminal record
