**Job Title: Registered Nurse | Cardiothoracic Surgical Ward**

**Hours: Full-time, permanent**
**Salary: $39.30 ph to $51.35 ph**

**About the role**
Based in our client's cardiothoracic surgical floor, with three clinical areas: a 13-bed Cardiothoracic Surgical Unit (CTU), a 6-bed ICU, and a 13-bed Cardiac Investigations Unit (CIU).

In CTU, you'll care for pre
- and postoperative patients undergoing all types of cardiac and/or thoracic surgeries. This is a busy and stimulating environment where you'll be joining a positive, supportive team led by our awesome Charge Nurse Manager, where open communication and respect are highly valued.

**About you - you'll need**:

- Registration with the NZ Nursing Council & current APC
- Strong & current clinical skills in caring for patients following cardiothoracic surgery
- Must have experience nursing patients pre & post cardio/thoracic surgery in a ward setting - (Not ICU)
- Outstanding assessment and time management skills, confidence in your practice and the ability to think on your feet
