As a Qualified cardiac physiology technician, you
will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a tertiary hospital which is
the electrophysiology and ICD centre for the South Island of New Zealand. You
will be supported by an experienced and knowledgeable team to gain theoretical
understanding and practical competency to complete your Cardiac Physiology
Technician course and gain registration (if applicable).
We have a full time opportunity for a qualified or
someone who wishes to train to become a qualified cardiac physiology
technician. This position will see you working 40 hours per week. The days and
hours required for this position are Monday - Friday, between 0700 and 1630
(start and finish times are flexible within these hours, comprising of 8.5
hours per day).

**In this role, you will be responsible for**:

- Developing practical competency/performing technical duties such

as: electrocardiography; exercise tolerance testing; holter monitor
- Cleaning, stocking and maintenance of equipment where required;
- Clerical duties where required;
- Completion of relevant coursework and examination (if applicable).Your skills/experience will include:

- NCEA level 2 Science, Maths, English.
- The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, following the

guidance of supervising staff and taking advantage of learning
opportunities presented;
- A focus on professional development and education as well as
