This position is responsible for providing ‘First Choice’ customer service by consulting with customers to determine and influence their container hire, sales and modification needs.

**Requirements**:
Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)
- Comply with WHS policies and procedures in a safe and responsible manner to ensure own health and safety, and that of any other person in the workplace.
- Report any workplace incidents, injuries, and/or hazards to your Manager immediately.
- Co-operate with management when consulted on WHS issues.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment when required.
- Facilitate and/or undertake WHS training as required.
- Participate fully in workplace rehabilitation programs.
- Assist in induction and provide training where necessary.

Container Hire & Sales
- Consult with customers to determine their needs, and provide relevant information and recommendations to customers
- Influence buying decisions of customers by recommending hire, accessories, and available containers.
- Actively explore new market opportunities and engage in outbound activities.
- Follow-up customer inquiries to facilitate the hire/sale of RW containers.
- Provide timely and accurate quotes for all products and services in line with pricing guidelines.
- Ensure all relevant customer data is recorded accurately and in a timely manner in CRM to facilitate pipeline management.
- Undertake customer billing and book transportation as required.
- Promote and sell aged stock where appropriate in response to sales inquiries.

Other Duties
- Assist in other duties as delegated by your Manager from time to time. Training & Personal Skills Development
- Undertake all scheduled training to improve your job performance and the overall performance

Position Requirements - Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Effective Communication
- Presents information both clearly and concisely and confirms the correct interpretation of information.
- The ability to effectively negotiate with customers and influence outcomes.
- Very high standard of written and verbal communication skills.

Computer Literacy
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Intermediate typing accuracy and speed.

Organisation & Attention to Detail
- The ability to organize and plan own work outcomes including identifying key priorities and handling multiple tasks.
- Continually seeks ways to improve work processes and outcomes.
- Initiates and responds to suggestions for improving service.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail.

Attitude & Teamwork
- Demonstrates a pro-active, professional, and customer (internal/external) focused attitude and communication style.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dresses professionally.

Qualification and Experience
- Two years experience in sales/customer
