Work Location: Te-Awamutu-Waikato
Employment type: Full time Permanent(guaranteed 30 hours / per week, Tuesday to Saturday),
Our pay: $29.66 - $31.66 per hour
**Tasks Include**:
- Measure and combine ingredients and raw materials using hands/hand tools and other equipment to make doughs for pies, pastry, bread rolls, and other pastry foods.
- Make sweet, savory and special ingredient fillings, sauces and toppings.
- Check the quality of the ingredients and the prepared raw materials to make sure quality standard are met
- Set, adjust and monitor oven and other cookware’s temperatures to ensure proper baking and cooking time
- Take out the baked pastry from the forms, trays, unloading, de-panning and cooling the finished products
- Decorate, glaze and adjust the display of the finished products
- Test the finished products to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality requirements
- Clean and restock workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.
- Check the cleanliness of equipment and operation of machines before each run, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
