**Intermediate/ Senior Full Stack Software Developer (Perm/ Contract)**

**About** the Intermediate/ Senior Software Developer Role**

**The main objective of the role**:
The purpose of the position is to work with development teams and product managers (both SECTION6 and our client) to ideate, produce and deliver scalable software solutions for transformational projects.

The primary aim of the software solutions are to enable new capabilities and ways of working that create opportunities for increased efficiency, innovation, and reliability of services while lowering time to value.

**The experience, knowledge and attributes required to be able to operate as a SECTION6 Intermediate/ Senior Software Developer, are as follows**:

- You fully understand; Agile Enterprise Software Application Development/ SaaS.
- You have a minimum of between 4 and 10 years, proven experience as a Full Stack Developer and are comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries.
- You have proven experience with object-relational databases, modern relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (Elastic, MongoDB).
- You have sound experience in a broad range of automated testing methodologies and tools for Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).
- Experienced in designing and implementing microservice serverless-based architectures.
- You have demonstrable experience in designing, developing, and writing effective REST APIs.
- You have significant hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for production workloads.
- You have a good understanding of SCRUM methodology gained through working and following the related principles thereof.

**Advantages Experience**:

- Good knowledge of Docker/Vagrant and containerisation principles.
- A good understanding and knowledge of Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.

**As an Intermediate/ Senior Full Stack Software Developer your responsibilities will be**:

- Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate and produce scalable software solutions by writing clean, functional code on the front
- and back-end.
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency and fix bugs/other coding issues, through troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading software.
- Create security and data protection settings.
- Write technical documentation.

- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to solve business problems for our customers.
