An opportunity has become available to work as a Consultant Psychiatrist and join our passionate and multi-disciplinary team at the Child & Adolescent Mental Health & Addiction Services based in Rotorua, but also includes clinics in Taupō for the Southern Lakes community.

The role is based in the Rotorua Children’s hub and involves some clinic days at the satellite office in Taupō. Lakes has been recognised for the inspired collaboration to provide a single, centrally accessible centre for children and their family and Whānau where holistic healthcare can be provided.
- About the role_
- Busy role with a broad variety of psychiatry
- 1:6 on-call roster
- Permanent, full-time role (40 hours / week) - hours negotiable
- About you - you should have_
- Hold or be eligible for Vocational Registration with Medical Council of NZ
- Enjoy teaching - Rotorua is a teaching hospital with 4th, 5th and 6th year medical students as well as registrars training for fellowship with the RANZCP
- Salary range_
$170,369 - $250,562 per annum

To be eligible to work at Te Whatu Ora Lakes, you must be fully vaccinated, including for COVID-19.
