**About the opportunity**

We're looking for a **Sales Specialist** to be based at our Whangarei fresh produce market. In this role, you'll sell and procure across all of our fruit and vegetable categories and maintain strong relationships with our customers and growers.

Key responsibilities include;
- Grow supply and sales to maximise T&G Fresh's market share.
- Build long term sustainable relationships with customers and growers
- Drive the product portfolio's revenue and margin performance
- Create and implement product promotional programmes
- Utilise market knowledge to actively seek new business opportunities

This is an interactive sales role on our market floor which is open to customers for trading from 5am. The early start means that the afternoons are yours to enjoy Due to the nature of our industry, flexibility is required to respond to customers and growers throughout the day and during our peak season, it's all hands on deck.

**About you**
- Proven sales experience in the FMCG and/or Horticulture sector
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
- Commercial acumen to negotiate and drive profitable sales
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
