You’ll also bring a great attitude with you and will like to have a laugh, because although we take our commitment to the business and the environment seriously, we still like to have a lot of fun along the way.Key Responsibilities

**What we need from you**
- A planning degree recognised by the New Zealand Planning Institute
- 2+ years resource consent / planning experience in New Zealand
- A good working knowledge of district and regional planning and consenting.
- Experience in Council, stakeholder, iwi, and community liaison and engagement.
- An understanding of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Site visits could be anywhere across New Zealand so, a willingness to travel is preferred in this role as we’re a national consultancy and our site visits may be off the beaten track. You will have the opportunity to be involved in a mixture of projects including, policy development, undertaking planning due diligence, assisting local councils with processing resource consents and acquiring resource consents for a range of development projects. Demonstrated experience in local government and/or private sector is definitely preferred.
