We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced midwife to join our highly successful diabetes in pregnancy team. This role involves engaging with women who have a new diagnosis of diabetes and supporting them to achieve a healthy pregnancy in collaboration with their LMC. Kindness, empathy and the ability to work closely in partnership with women is essential.

This is a senior midwife position that requires a high level of professional autonomy, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. The role includes working one to one with women and co-ordinating our busy diabetes in pregnancy clinics.
This role is based across both North Shore and Waitākere Hospitals.
- A qualified, experienced midwife with a current NZ midwifery practicing certificate
- A resourceful health practitioner who is able to manage their own workload and make sound clinical decisions
- Someone who embodies our values: everyone matters; with compassion; connected; and better, best, brilliant
