Leak Detection Technician

**The Opportunity**:
**We currently have a vacancy for a Leak Detection Technician who will be responsible for identifying and locating leaks from the water network in the Queenstown Lakes District.**

**What you will do**:

- ** Identify and locate leaks on the water network using specialist equipment**
- ** Pinpoint the location of known leaks using specialist equipment**
- ** Act as a point of contact for customers**
- ** Be part of an on-call roster**

**You will need**:

- ** Class 1 Licence essential although Class 2 Licence will be an advantage**
- ** Experience in drain laying, plumbing, irrigation, wastewater maintenance or civil works an advantage**
- ** Previous Leak Detection experience**
- ** An outstanding sense of hearing**
- ** Willingness to work hard and get dirty while providing an essential community utility**
- ** Good communication and organisational skills**
- ** Basic to computer literacy**
