**Job description**:
A Teacher of English at LSNZ is expected to prepare and teach professional lessons in accordance with our school curriculum. This also entails keeping a clear and accurate record of lessons taught and fortnightly test scores of those in your class entered in the computer and on class lists.

At times the Director of Studies may request teachers to write a progress report for students in their class. All students receive a final assessment report when they graduate. Teachers must write the report as well as give a short speech about their student at the graduation ceremony.

All teachers are expected to maintain a good rapport with their students and the other students at the school during and after class, and treat everyone with dignity and respect.

Teachers are also expected to attend weekly staff meetings and regular professional development sessions.

**Job pre-requisites**:
The essential qualifications needed are:

- Initial TESOL qualification
- Has a level of English of at least CEFR C1 level
- A degree/a diploma of teaching (preferably)
- A post-graduate diploma in a language related area(preferably)
- At least 5 years of English language teaching experience
