**Mō tēnei tūranga | About this role**

Dyhrberg Drayton is a boutique firm in the heart of Wellington with a prestigious reputation, having won Employment Law Specialist Firm of The Year at the 2023 NZ Law Awards. Established in 2011, the firm measures success by client satisfaction rather than billables. You’d be working on challenging and interesting cases ranging from litigation for government organisations, investigations and the full range of employment law in New Zealand. Additionally, the firm is on the panel of legal providers for the All of Government legal services contract, so you’ll be exposed to a range of clients. The firm also provides the ability to engage in pro-bono work.

**Nga Whakaritenga Matua | Key Requirements**
- Ideally 2 to 6 years of post-admission experience in employment law
- Some mentorship experience would be advantageous, but is not crucial
- The ability to work well with other staff and be a good team player
- Be willing to work hard to be responsive and provide clear and accurate legal advice
- A strong desire to use this opportunity to grow within the firm and have a solutions-based approach
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- The ability to demonstrate strategic thinking and forward planning
- Ideally an understanding of tikanga and te ao Māori and commitment to continuing development of cultural competence
