**Hosting Artist**
Pinot & Picasso is New Zealand’s #1 paint and sip experience. We show guests some of the basic techniques of painting on canvas, in a hassle-free, approachable and collaborative setting. Our guests enjoy a night of BYO wine and painting as our Pinot & Picasso hosts deliver sessions with easy-to-follow instructions. This is where you come in We are looking for creatively minded people to host our sessions and ensure our guests leave having released their inner-Picasso.
**Responsibilities & Duties**
The Hosting Artist is the face of the Pinot & Picasso brand. When wearing the P&P uniform you step into the shoes of the creative head of the class and have the opportunity to guide a room full of guests in creating a masterpiece they will no doubt be proud of. As the Hosting Artist, your core responsibilities will be:
- welcoming guests, checking them into the session and making them feel at ease
- providing (all supplied) step-by-step guidance for the chosen artwork
- representing the Pinot & Picasso brand (‘friendly, energetic & creative’)
- facilitating the overall enjoyment of guests during the session
- providing one-on-one assistance to guests in creating their individual artwork
- managing the atmosphere and experience of the class
- using social media platforms to showcase the Pinot & Picasso experience
- conducting the same experience outside the studio at a ‘Pop-Up Event’
- ensuring the cleanliness of the studio before, during and after the session
- following the set-up and pack-down guidelines, and mandatory reporting processes

**Qualifications & Skills**
A Pinot & Picasso Hosting Artist requires mínimal qualifications. The role is all about facilitating fun, entertaining sessions. We are looking for people who:
- have excellent communication and customer service skills
- have an energetic and creative personality
- can facilitate painting sessions independently
- can teach basic painting skills with step-by-step instructions to people of all ages
- can work in a team, take on feedback and adapt to new environments
- are over the age of 18
- have a LCQ and Duty Manager License (preferred but not required)
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: From $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- New Plymouth, Taranaki: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- LCQ or Duty Manager qualification? (preferred)
Shift availability:
- Night Shift (preferred)
