Th **e hours and days for this Knifehand position are**

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 0600- 1000 also Friday and Saturday 0600 - 1530

**Keep warm by working hard in this cool environment and take pride in selling quality meat to your customers. In this hands on role as a Knifehand, a day in the life could look like**:

- Cutting, trimming, deboning and packaging meat products as well as using different machinery
- Interacting with customers helping them choose the best cuts of meat for their needs
- Maintaining great presentation for the Butchery department
- Championing Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors

**In this role we are looking for our new team member to**:

- Have previous experience with cutting and preparing meat
- Have a willingness for early starts and to work on your feet for most of your shift
- Be a strong communicator and effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Have a keen eye for detail ensuring there’s not a meat pack out of place
- Regularly lift up to 15kgs, bend, reach and complete repetitive movements
