The Manager requires assistance to manage a busy and growing branch.

**Description**:
There is an opportunity to join our team in Glenfield, Auckland due to the growth of the branch.

This is a customer-facing role, with full on-the-job training & support with the opportunity to progress through the business. We are looking for a motivated, high-energy person to start their career journey in a company that will invest in you to succeed. Ideally, you will have some experience or exposure to the hydraulic industry and you will need a passion to look after customers and provide exceptional service.

About the position

This role is primarily about assisting with the daily operations of our Branch Service Center and providing a high level of face-to-face customer service for our walk-in customers and mobile sales and service technicians over our “Trade Counter”.

**This is a very busy and varied role, which includes**:

- Answering the phone, taking and keying orders.
- Manufacturing of hoses for walk-in customers through the hose shop.
- Picking, packing & sending urgent orders when required.
- Warehouse work, including stock takes.
- Assisting our mobile technicians when needed.
- Understanding and following all Health & Safety practices.
- Ultimately you also get an opportunity to become a mobile sales & service technician if that is a path you wish to follow.

About the person

**We are looking for someone with**:

- A mechanical aptitude would be beneficial
- Someone keen and willing to learn and progress
- The ability to work unsupervised to meet customer deadlines, be comfortable dealing with customers
- Be reliable and accurate in your work process
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility for working hours
