**Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the role**:
The Crown Property teams provide the leadership and direction for Crown-owned property, looking for opportunities to maximise these assets for the benefit of New Zealanders. Day-to-day, we manage about two million hectares of Crown land, including surplus Crown assets, commercial and residential properties, pastoral leases and forestry licences.
The role reports to the Leader, Project Delivery in Crown Property and will work closely with the wider Crown Property team.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- An understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi and the Treaty settlement process,
- Proven knowledge, experience and capability in managing complex or sensitive land related issues,
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a range of teams, key stakeholders, and Iwi,
- High level written and verbal communication skills to provide information to a range of audiences,
- Experience managing projects & contracts with suppliers.

**The annual salary range for this role is**: $87,000 - $105,000
