**Job Description**:
This is a key role to provide assistance in NDT testing and welding inspection services to light and heavy industry and perform specialist NDT checks and evaluations and advising of repairs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Carry out component inspections of items such as structures, bridges, specialist construction sites as requested, pressure vessels, pipe work, boilers, heat exchangers, tanks and pumps.
- Work with clients on plant shut downs to complete accurate inspections on all equipment using various NDT techniques on plant and equipment and provide client reports in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with SGS management systems
- Maintain and calibrate specialized tools and equipment as required to ensure down time is kept to a minimum

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of five years practical work experience in the NDT industry
- NDT Level II certifications, minimum qualifications: Radiographic/ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic particle testing, Dye - Penetrant testing, and experience in heat treatments.
- Knowledge of SGS systems would be ideal
- Unrestricted New Zealand Driving License
- Excellent computer literacy including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Proven experience in technical report writing and excellent oral communication skills including fluent English.

Salary $65k-70k per annum
