We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a healthcare team in the beautiful South Otago region. As a NP, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient-centered care to the community. **Qualifications & Experience**
- Completed a Nursing Council accredited master’s degree program (or equivalent)
- Must be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand in the registered nurse scope of practice
- Must pass an assessment against the Nurse Practitioner competencies given by a Council-approved assessor.
- Must possess strong communication skills and great leadership skills

**The medical practice**

Located within the district nursing service, this medical centre is staffed with four practice nurses and is equipped to cater to the full range of general practice care, including accident and emergency medicine work. Visiting nurse specialists, as well as counselling, physiotherapy, dental, and other services, are available to patients. The centre boasts modern technology and provides well-resourced facilities for minor surgery and fracture management, typical of small-town rural practice.
