Courier Driver

We are courier service company based in Lower Hutt. We pride ourselves in providing an excellent work environment for our team and nothing but the best service for our customers.

To enhance our team, we are now seeking for Delivery Drivers working with in Lower Hutt.

Key responsibilities and tasks:
Following instructions to deliver or pick up materials and goods on a regular base

Business delivery and pickup

Residential delivery and pickup

Following routes and time schedule

Operating vehicles into position for loading and unloading

Using lifting and tipping devices to load and unload vehicles

Complying with safety requirements when driving, parking, loading, and unloading vehicles

Conducting regular routine checks of vehicles to ensure the driven and on road safety

Ensuring the loaded materials, goods and equipment are safely stored and covered, and protected from damage or loss

Carefully verifying loading documents, check the loading condition and obtain supporting documentation for delivery

Must have Valid NZ full (Class 1) license or equivalent

Dangerous good Endorsement

Physical fitness and good work ethic

No criminal or driving convictions

Must able to pass the drug test.

Uniform will be provided.

We offer a competitive salary of $29.66 per hour depending on your personal skills and experiences.

Type of employment: Permanent and full time

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week would be guaranteed. Maximum hours would be 35 hours per week during busy workload. Our position shift schedule will be 6 days per week, operating on company days from Monday to Saturday.
