**About the Role**

Our client is a specialist in the area of Powder Coating. They are a well-established operation based on the North shore who have earnt themselves a reputation for quality work and excellent service and are known for “getting it done right, on time, without sacrificing quality”.

Due to ongoing success, they are now seeking an additional person for their busy team of Powder Coaters. Whilst experience is preferable, they will also consider a Trade Assistant who has experience in spray painting, or who has worked in a production or manufacturing environment, has a strong understanding of safety protocols, is hard working and has an excellent work ethic.

**Duties**:

- Prepping items by wiping down and sanding any rust or marks before spraying
- Cutting wire and making hooks
- Hanging jobs on the line using hooks
- Spraying of a variety of items
- Quality check, packing and labeling of completed orders
- Degrease, wipe all steel, stainless items with chemicals
- Pre-treat aluminium items in chemical tanks
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**Skills and Experience**:

- Powder coating, spray painting or experience in a busy hands-on workshop environment
- Able to undertake prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Committed to Health and Safety in the workplace
- A forklift licence an advantage, or the ability to obtain one
- Excellent attention to detail
- A sound work ethic and the motivation to succeed
