Work Location: Waimauku, Great Auckland Region

Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 30 hours Minimum per week, if needed 50 hours Maximum will be provided)

The Bonat Toun & Mean Lay Partnerships trading as Waimauku Bakery Café is a busy bakery located in Waimauku, Auckland. The operating hours is 4:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Sunday. The shift for our position will be rotating roster during that operating hour.

Our pay: Minimum $29.66 per hour to Maximum of $31.00 per hour

We are a well-established popular Bakery & café based in Auckland. To enhance our team, we are now looking for 2 Pastrycooks to join our team. We are expecting someone who has a passion for food, attention to details, ability to multi task and be a proactive member of the team.

No prior work experience is required for this role but could be an advantage. Priority will be given to local NZ residence/citizens.

**Tasks Include**:

- **Measure and combine ingredients and using mixers, blenders, and other equipment to make doughs for pies, pastry, bread rolls, and cakes.**
- **Make sweet and savory fillings for the pastry.**
- **Decorate and display finished products.**
- **Test ingredients and finished products to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality requirements.**
- **Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking.**
- **Clean and restock workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.**
- **Help at front on our busiest time.**
- **Check the cleanliness of equipment and operation of machines before production runs, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.**
- **May assist with other food production when necessary**
