In this role you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve agreed patient outcomes. You will assist with tasks delegated by a registered nurse which includes:

- Providing patient care such as hygiene cares, assisting with mobilising and meals
- Cleaning, restocking, tidying and ordering stock
- Transferring patients to the wards
- Assisting with discharge cleaning of the bedspaces

**Mōu | About you**
- Required skills & experience you will need to be consider for this role:

- Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Patient, family and team centred approach.
- Effective communication skills with a good written and oral command of English
- Ability to take initiative and work with mínimal direction
- Prioritisation and problem solving abilities.
- Caring and supportive
- Proficient with computers and technology
- Previous experience in health care in a New Zealand acute healthcare setting
- Current NZ work visa (if applicable)

**Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service**
- The Critical Care Department comprises of a 12 bed High Dependency Unit (HDU) and a 16 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU). You will be expected to work in both ICU and HDU.
