Border Officers undertake both pre-arrival and on-arrival functions within Immigration Border Operations. The role is critical not only for managing risk with the large volumes of people that come through New Zealand’s border, but also for creating a positive first impression of New Zealand.

Immigration Border Operations sits within the Border and Visa Operations branch of Immigration New Zealand (INZ), a group within MBIE.
