Niche Recruitment is delighted to partner with The Environmental Lawyers, a boutique legal practice based on Auckland’s North Shore, specialising in environmental/resource management law, climate change, alcohol licensing, local government and public works.

Due to continued growth and strong workflows, they are seeking an experienced solicitor to join their team as a Senior Solicitor or Associate.

**The Opportunity**

Working with the firm’s two Directors, you will be immersed in a wide variety of work relating in particular to environmental and resource management law, local government, public works and alcohol licensing. Clients range from large corporates and SMEs; to developers, private individuals and iwi. The Directors regularly appear in the Environment Court and you will have the opportunity to represent clients at mediations and hearings from Day 1 (appropriate to your level of experience).

**About You**

Ideally, you will be:

- A NZ qualified lawyer with 2-8 years’ legal experience (more or less) from another private practice and/or in-house role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A confident and professional manner
