**Position Summary**:

- Title: Motor Vehicle Parts Fitters
- Wage: $30.00 per hour
- Location: Penrose, Auckland
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Hours of Work: 45 hours per week, from Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:30pm. An employee may be required to work on weekend and up to 52 hours per week. Guaranteed hours of work is 30 hours per week.

**Tasks include**:

- Fit and replace parts and accessories on motor vehicles
- Install and replace a variety of vehicle parts and accessories, including batteries, stereos, alarms, and sunroofs
- Remove damaged parts, prepare vehicle surfaces, and fit new components
- Replace and seal windscreens, windows, and trim, ensuring a secure and proper fit
- Repair and fit exhaust systems, including mufflers, pipes, and mounting brackets
- Service and replace cooling system parts, such as radiators, water pumps, and thermostats
- Inspect, repair, and refit tyres, and balance wheels using advanced equipment
- Operate pneumatic tools and equipment for efficient tyre changes and fittings
- At least one year of relevant experience
- A current NZ driver’s license.
- Flexibility to work all shifts including weekends and public holidays (as may be required)
