Telephonist (Casual)

MidCentral actively seeks Māori into our workforce to reflect the community we serve.

We are seeking highly motivated, efficient and enthusiastic people to join the team working as a Telephonist at the Palmerston North Hospital.

These roles are casual on an as required basis that will cover permanent staff in the event of annual or sick leave and participate in the roster as required. The Telephony office hours are 24 hours per day 7 days per week so you must be available to work rostered duties including weekends.

We are looking for people who once trained can work as part of a team but also be able to work on their own outside of normal working hours.

The successful applicants will need to have a strong customer service background with excellent communication skills and a professional and pleasant telephone manner.
