**ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will work with our manufacturing teams to deliver a safe and reliable plant. Your primary role will involve:

- Maintaining the reliability of our fixed plant and equipment at our Mount Maunganui manufacturing site.
- Working with production, distribution, technical and external contractors, to work on improvements and preventative maintenance.
- Respond and take ownership of maintenance tasks and source all resources to complete the work. Deliver quality solutions that enable the production teams to produce a consistent supply of quality product.

Please Note: This role is primarily a daytime role, however there is a shared requirement for rostered weekends and after hours work including call outs to provide maximum plant availability.

- Have a strong commitment to the health and safety of yourself, your team and the environment
- Hold a Mechanical Trade Certificate or equivalent and a practical understanding of RCA principles
- The ability to plan, organise, prioritise and meet agreed deadlines
- A good level of physical fitness and ability to work with heavy machinery
- Practical knowledge and understanding in the use of a CMMS, SAP experience will be an advantage
