We are a busy butcher shop in South Auckland looking for two or more Butchers assistants to help with day to day operation.
Our shop operating hour is between 7 am to 6 pm, so you are expecting to be available between these time from Monday to Sunday working
in roster shift. We open most public holiday except Christmas and Easter, so you are also expecting to be available during public holidays
when it is our most busy time. The minimum working hours is 30 hours and maximum working hour is 40 hours.

**Your main tasks and responsibilities are**:
assisting the Butcher to weigh and measure meat for packing
assisting the Butcher to slice and cut meats
packaging meat and placing correct label on each product
assisting the owner to do stock count when needed
storing meat supplies in cold room to ensure the meat freshness and compliance with food safety regulation
informing Butcher when the meat supplies are low
cleaning cold room and work station after each use and shift according to food safety regulation
Assisting the owner to open and close shop occasionally

**Qualification/Work Experience**:
industry and like working in cold environment as the work would require standing near the cold room and can cope with the smell of
raw meats.

**Skills and other specifications**:
Reliable
Time management skills
Able to follow instructions
Good at communicating
Personally fit as it may involve lifting heavy meats and being able to stand for a long period of time in a cold room environment
The pay would be from $23 to $26 per hour depending on your skill level and work experience.
