**About the role**:
Reporting to the Chef, your responsibilities will include:
- Washing, Cutting, and slicing vegetables, meat and fish
- Weighing, measuring, mixing and prepping ingredients according to recipes
- Steaming, grilling, broiling, baking, or frying meats, fish, vegetables and other ingredients
- Checking food and ingredients for freshness
- Maintaining a clean work environment to prevent food contamination
- Reporting any problems with kitchen equipment to the manager on duty
**Pay**
We offer a considerable pay rate between **$28.5/hour $30/hour** for ordinary working hours and a higher pay rate for overtime depending on your skills and performance.
**Qualification and Experience**:
Qualification is not required. Relevant experience may be an advantage.
