We are currently looking for an FME Specialist to join our awesome GIS Team. You will provide support and advice in the development of spatial ETL FME models, routines and workflows by delivering projects and administrative support across Auckland Transport (AT) to add value for Aucklanders and support data-driven decision making in various divisions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop and implement innovative spatial data integration, transformation and extractions for geospatial products and solutions by creating detailed FME ETL routines, workflows, scripts and specifications according to user requirements.
- Architect, implement and deploy new spatial data models and data processes, resolve data ambiguities and anomalies by performing data analysis.
- Research, review, and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing solutions and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging them.
- Support and develop standards and guidelines for spatial data integrity, ETL workflows and communicate, mentor and teach these to team members and colleagues.

- A tertiary degree (Bachelor's Degree or higher) qualification in Information Sciences or Geoinformation systems with relevant software engineering experience.
- 5-7 years' experience in a similar role utilising FME Desktop and FME Server with contribution to varied projects and complex solutions.
- Proven experience with technical requirements analysis, business process modelling/mapping, methodology development, and data modelling
- Experience in GIS Software such as ESRI ArcGIS, Geo Media or Map Info is essential
