Role:
Our Porters will ensure hotel guests stay and travel experience is outstanding each and every time. You meet & greet guests upon their arrival, assist with luggage and valet parking to make arriving experience unforgettable. Upon departure you will assist again and wish them well on their trip forward.

Your responsibilities would include:

- Assist with car / hotel doors and guest luggage
- Ensure timely delivery of all guest luggage
- Explain technology and features of guest rooms
- Exercise care and responsibility when parking guest vehicles
- All guest property in storage, long or short term, duly documented and cared for
- Assist with the Front Office Operations
- Responding to guest enquiries regarding local attractions, restaurants, and tours. Offering the best product or service to meet the guests individual requirements
- Be proactive in the services concierge offers, follow up all reservations, bookings and recommendations to ensure quality and guest satisfaction
- Ensure the appearance of the guest services desk, hotel lobby and forecourt is immaculately presented at all times
- Co-ordinate guest transportation to and from the airport and ensure that accurate accounting procedures are followed in the charging of transfers

We would prefer if you have:

- Previous experience in a similar role or customer facing role
- Passion for high end hospitality with an absolute eye for detail
- A demonstrated ability to build warm relationships and gain trust at all levels
- Initiates contacts and establishes rapport easily
- Organizes time and work efficiently
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a full NZ drivers license
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as part of the job role
