Pastrycook Assistant

**Duties required**:
**+ prepping for the bakers including cutting vegetables, weighing up ingredients, cleaning and spraying trays**

**+ detinning pies including rotating stock in the chiller and ensuring product is labeled and dated**

**+ washing dishes, cleaning machines, sweeping floors, ensuring the chiller and other storage areas are kept clean and tidy**

**+ unpacking deliveries, rotating and putting away stock**

**+ cutting slices ready for the shop**

**+ traying up product for display/sale**

**+ taking the rubbish out and cleaning bins as required**

**# must have willingness to learn and follow instructions and adapt to procedure adjustments**

**# must work well alone and within a team**

**# MUST be ready to commit to early mornings. with shifts usually beginning between 12am and 4am depending on the requirements for the shift, this can include last minute time changes due to sudden requirement**

**# please note the shifts do not include an end time, the end is when all is complete, we have an approximate production schedule the day before but cantset that until the morning and often it gets adjusted throughout the day depending on customer demands. Shifts can range from 6hrs to 12hrs with the average being approximately 9-10 hrs.
